10 Years
Time passes faster if you do something that you love. That is what Angela and I experienced for the ten years we have, pastoring Jakarta Praise Community Church (JPCC). And I am sure that our friends in the ministry experience the same too.
It is still very clear in our minds the day JPCC was started and if we now can celebrate our 10th anniversary, it is such wonderful grace from God.
"A vision could only be realized through a journey".
For us the journey was not always easy, but one thing is certain: God's grace and guidance from the Holy Ghost follows us in every step. At times it was just “a gentle voice in our heart”
Equipped with this experience we took courage to continue this journey stretch ahead and continue to make history, leave footprints that can be followed by the next generation that God will raise, so that God's Kingdom in this beloved country is "acceptable to God and be approved by men1".
Lastly, allow me to say thank you everyone that have contributed to the birth of, nurtured, taught, advised and loved JPCC. Thank you my friends: the full-time staffs and all the volunteers. You are not merely a Super Team that are able to serve with excellence and ask nothing in return, but in my eyes, you are heroes in God's Kingdom.
Let's continue to make our heavenly Father be proud with what we do and He'd say "Well done, my good and faithful servants, you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord2”
